Haiku
Campbell School: Matthew, Hannah, Cecilia
a haiku to mountains
by aj
on Mt. Washington
we climb up your steep cliffsides
digging up your rocks
by brad
winter disappears
leaving spring in its wake as
trees come back to life
a haiku to clouds
by aj
clouds white and poofy
if too heavy you will rain
moving in the sky
by brad
colours return to
the world and flowers bloom once
again. spring is here.
a haiku to oceans
by aj
oceans big and blue
your waves splash on the seashore
oceans bring fun times
by brad
streets come back to life
and the hustle and bustle
of the town returns.
By Hannah
The snow lands on trees
Snow angels are laying down
The icicles drip
So soft and fluffy
Snowballs flying in the ai
I see it fall
Outside feels so cold
I leave imprints of my shoes
Snowmen smiling
for Hannah -
Haiku to Winter by Lia
Grey tree outlines
wait to be dressed in white
against sharp blue skies.
Snow blankets pavement,
shimmering silver and white,
reflecting light.
Cold wind cuts the air
weaves through trees and twirls snow flakes,
leaves unsettled heaps.
Haiku to the Beach by Cecilia
Frolicking in the sand
Hopping in the cold water
Playing in the sun
Haiku to Stars by Cecilia
Stars shine beautifly
Dazzling in the night sky
What a pretty sight
Haiku to Tree by Cecilia
Climb up the tree trunk
Laying in the leaves cool shade
Swing from branch to branch
For Cecilia
Beach
by Kellsey
The waves are crashing
Sun soaks heat into my skin
Cool breeze moves my hair
Stars
by Kellsey
Twinkle from above
Cast their light in the night sky
One more wish tonight
Trees
by Kellsey
Reaching to touch sky
Bright green leaves and dark brown trunk
Rooted in the ground
Haiku to cities by Matthew Byrne
Very big skylines
tall,towering aprtments
The busy subway
Haiku to cities by Matthew Byrne
Buildings made of steel
Pigeons flying all around
Billboards standing there
Haiku to cities by Matthew Byrne
Famous buisnesses
Dirty subway,taxi cab
Shops everywhere
Haikus about stuff by Ryan Butler
fast cars and loud honks
tall glass with sun reflections
people everywhere
winter winter please
take your absence from us
spring can come and play
the water bubbles
while cars drive over the
cascadilla creek
